Climate tech company REVATION has announced its designation as a "Preliminary Environmental Social Enterprise for 2024" by the Ministry of Environment.

The Ministry of Environment designated eight companies this year as "environment-focused preliminary social enterprises" to promote social services and create new jobs in the environmental sector. REVATION was selected in the "Creative and Innovative" category.

True to its mission of "RE+INNOVATION," REVATION is a one-stop solution provider for eco-friendly product development, striving to promote eco-conscious values through innovation. Through its “RESTUDIO” service, the company accelerates the transition to sustainable packaging for B2B clients and offers services that transform not only the plastic used in packaging but also plastic products themselves into eco-friendly alternatives.

“RESTUDIO” is characterized by a CMF (Color, Material, Finish) R&D system that enables the rapid transition of plastic products to environmentally friendly alternatives.

REVATION’s CEO, Minseong Lee, stated, “This designation as a preliminary environmental social enterprise motivates us to further dedicate ourselves to developing eco-friendly materials and reducing carbon emissions. We will continue to innovate towards a plastic-free society.”

REVATION holds multiple patents, including those for eco-friendly pulp packaging and methods for manufacturing cosmetic packaging. Recently, the company also registered three new patents for bio-plastic production systems using natural materials.
