Yuhan-Kimberly continues its efforts to improve product environmental performance through initiatives such as minimizing raw material usage, increasing recyclability, and plastic reduction, with the corporate goal of generating over 95% of sales from sustainable products by 2030.
In line with this, the development of the mentioned product also involved the consideration of plastic reduction and recyclability, leading to the development of paper packaging.
The paper packaging is made from 100% recyclable paper and can be easily separated for recycling after use.
The paper packaging is shaped like a leaf to evoke the identity of Greenfinger and emphasizes the natural texture of the paper without printing, reflecting the brand's warm sensibility.
The paper sleeve effectively visualizes the inherent image and scent of the product that is not directly revealed in the package.
The Greenfinger Cozy Cotton Laundry Detergent and Fabric Softener Set received vegan certification from the Korean Vegan Certification Institute.
Vegan certification is awarded to products that do not use animal-derived ingredients, animal-derived components, or genetically modified organisms and are managed to prevent cross-contamination.
The laundry detergent contains fruit juice extracts from pineapple, beetroot, and cabbage, while the fabric softener contains plant-derived softening ingredients such as green tea, sage, and chamomile extracts.
The Design Innovation Division, which led the planning and design development of the packaging, expressed, "As the trend of value consumption receives attention, package design is also evolving in a direction that can contribute to the global environment," adding, "We will continue to lead design innovation to make sustainable products more preferred in the market."
